Yesterday we learned about Corey Fontenot, a 26-year-old from Broomfield that was spotted panhandling to raise money for a wedding ring. Well, Corey got his ring. Looks like a jewlery store, Sonny's Diamonds, donated a ring and it sounds like Corey will propose to his long-distance girlfriend in October.
"They completely blew me away," Corey Fontenot, 26, said. "They gave me an amazing ring. I plan on using it to propose to my girlfriend in October."
Corey's girlfirend lives in Lousiana and told 9NEWS that he has a job and plans on giving the money he collected so far to the jewlery store. He didn't expect anyone to donate a ring.
