What is the FREE Day All About?
Make a trilobite mask and dig for trilobites in the Discovery Zone, see Mr. Bones the giant walking dinosaur skeleton, and touch and see gems, rocks, and minerals. Learn some rockin' dance steps from Community-Minded Dance, do a scavenger hunt about mammoths and mastodons, step inside the inflatable GeoDome, and stop by Space Odyssey's suspended globe. Discover the wonders of Earth science with the United States Geological Survey and the Geological Society of America. Plus, enjoy regular Free Day favorites like Secrets of the Dioramas tours, face painting, and blue-tongue genetics fun. All of these activities are for free!
