Home Cookin' in The White House - a benefit for FosterSports

From George Washington to Barack Obama, chefs have nourished the presidential palate. Unfortunately, most chefs have performed their culinary artistry in historical obscurity. Home Cookin’ in The White House is a unique event that will bring their stories—and their excellent food—to light. Cultural Historian, Adrian Miller, will give an entertaining, non-political presentation that describes the relationships that chefs had with past Presidents, what life was like for them, and the foods they prepared. Event attendees will also dine on a carefully-tailored menu of comfort foods inspired by the presidential recipes of African American chefs.  KUSA-TV | 9 News Anchor, Kirk Montgomery, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
