On Wednesday, the staff from KOSI 101.1 and our parent company, Entercom Denver, spent the day working with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver. We love to help out in the community and on Wednesday everyone had a blast helping to build a house in Lakewood.

We were split into groups and each group had a supervisor from Habitat for Humanity. I was in a group that built scaffolding and then prepped siding by caulking it. We all learned a lot from this great experience with a great organization and felt very good at the end of the day.

About Habitat For Humanity of Metro Denver
Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver builds and sells homes to hard-working people in need of decent and affordable housing. We are an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a non-denominational Christian housing photo ministry and global home-building movement. Habitat welcomes all people, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, or any other difference, to join us and build homes for people in need.
Locally, we were founded by volunteers in 1979, and since then, have built more than 400 homes in the Denver metro area, housing over 1,800 people.
