Tomorrow is the KOSI 101.1's "Light the House" Radio-thon and we need your help. The Ronald McDonald Houses in the Denver area are so importatant for families with children being treated at area hospitals. The Houses provide a home away from home for parents and families to be near their sick child. As many as 76 families rely on the support of The House every day. In a tougher economy, even more families might not be able to pay the $20 a day that helps The House supplement cost, yet this cost is so much less than staying in a hotel or motel.

The Denver Area Ronald McDonald Houses - What They Do
Our main focus is providing comfortable, low-cost housing to out-of-town mothers and fathers needing to be near their hospitalized children. Our largest residence, the Aurora House opened in March 2008. Only 7 years earlier a new Denver House was built. We award college scholarships to high school seniors and grants to community groups.
