Lakewood High School's Lip Dub Video Gets Katy Perry's Attention [VIDEO]
Lakewood High School put together a lip dub video to Katy Perry's 'Roar' and it got the singer's attention on Twitter! The students at Lakewood High want Katy Perry to come to Denver and perform a concert at Coors Field to raise funds for those affected by the recent Colorado flood.
According to an article from Denver Westword, the video got Katy's attention.
It was fate -- sort of. Lakewood High School's lip-dub to Katy Perry's "Roar" was in fact a submission to Good Morning America's call for such entries, but it wasn't the first time the Colorado school had gone viral with its own Perry rendition. In 2011, the school did a take on "Firework," but hadn't produced another video of it's kind until now.
Kerry Perry loved the video so much, she gave props on Twitter.
