Over 40,000 People Attended the 2012 Komen Denver Race for the Cure
Wow, what a great day on Sunday, Denver! Thank you for being a part of the 2012 Susan G. Koman Denver Race for the Cure! According to Komen Denver's website, over 40,000 of you were at the 2012 Race for the Cure Sunday and over 1,000 teams participated and $3 million has been raised in this battle against breast cancer. Here is how your money helps others
Funds raised thus far could provide breast cancer assistance services to individuals across Colorado in the following ways:
$1 can provide four breast self awareness cards, the first step a woman can take to control of her own breast health.
$25 will provide breast cancer self awareness cards for 100 women
$125 will provide a mammogram for an at-risk woman
