A self-described "One Percenter" in the San Francisco area is spreading his wealth, $1000 per day, in a Social Media Scavenger Hunt.
His Twitter handle is @HiddenCash. He’s hiding envelopes filled with money – up to $100, even a little more – around the city, then tweeting out clues to their locations. He’s calling it “an anonymous social experiment for good.”
No one knows who he really is – he says he made his money in real estate, and he’s got plenty of it. So he plans to continue his treasure hunt giveaways for a while, and even talks about doing the same in Los Angeles and other large cities.
Think of him as the real life mix of the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. Check out CNN’s coverage of the story.
