Telemarketer Threatens To Blow Up Colorado Home + The Do Not Call List
We've all had those calls from telmarketers in the past, but this time a telemarketer threatened a Colorado resident in Mead, saying they would blow up their house after refusing to buy a product, according to an article. Tuesday evening a telemarketer called a home in Mead around 6:30 p.m. and threatened to blow up the home after a family refused to buy a product they were trying to sell. Weld County Sheriff’s Office along with Dacono Police evacuated several homes in the Mead neighborhood and searched the house but nothing was found.

When the homeowner said he was not interested in the product for sale, the telemarketer said there was a bomb in that house and it would blow it up if anyone left, said Tim Schwartz, spokesman for the Weld County Sheriff’s Office.
The homeowner said the telemarketer had a foreign accent.
"We’re guessing the call didn’t originate in the U.S.," Schwartz said.
