Ok all the Super Bowl hype is over...the game was OK...not the Broncos so who really cares. let's talk about what really matters..the commercials!! Over all I thought they were average...a couple of Gems..the Doritio commercials were good, the Oreo one was good. The one that really stood out for me were the two for Chrysler...really Jeep and Ram Trucks. Oprah voiced the one about our service men and women and their families, that was Jeep. However my favorite was Paul Harvey talking about farmers and their value to all of us. It was for Ram Trucks but you really did not know that until the very end. I grew up in rural Wisconsin and most of my friends lived on farms. I know what kind of life that was. the work my friends had put in even berfore they came to school!..glad to see them honored that way. Chrysler spent $60 million to air both of those spots...money well spent.
This is about one of the best and touching commercials I have seen in a very long time. There is no one who could have said it any better than Paul Harvey. And I, like Murphy grew up in rural Wisconsin, I know how hard the farmers have to work. This commercial is a wonderful tribute to all the farmers in this country. Thank s and Have a great day.
