So far so good!

Everyone is talking about the replacement refs being used in the NFL. I know alot of you are saying they are doing their best and they probably are. However things are slowly getting out of hand and the peak might have come Monday night at the Green Bay, Seattle game. Did you see it..that play at the end of the game that more or less decided the outcome of the game....bad call. I wonder what the deciding factor is when hiring these replacement refs...most of them are low level college or even high school refs...which might not be to bad..however I just heard that a couple of them were refs in the ...are you ready...Lingerie league...thats right women playing in their undies!...They were fired from that league and hired by the NFL...really?!!

watch what you say to the wife!

Ok my fellow male mates of the married variety!...Just a couple things you should never say to the wife. I know from experience it is nothing but trouble!! For instance never say...."are going to wear Spanks with that?"...TROUBLE!.....never say.."Whoever makes more money should do less housework"...just grab a broom and shut-up. However the one you really want to avoid is...."You've turned into your mother"...this could be a reality no woman wants to face or admit too!!...just saying

OOPS! Papoo is caught naked!!

Sooooo the other day after a very rigorous work out, yea I know you don't believe that , however it is true! Anyway I had just showered up and was drying off..you know..like naked. Thats an ugly thought for you isn't it! Well deal with it...I continue. I did not know that my grandson Greyson had arrived for a visit. We always greet each other with a big hug and an I love you. So I'm standing there in the aunatural...the bathroom door bursts open and in comes Greyson. You can imagine the shock the poor boy experiencec!!...seeing his Papoo that way. The look on his face was priceless!!...After I had dressed and gone downstairs my daughter and wife were still laughing. They told me poor Greyson came down and told them the whole story and ended it by saying.....quoting my daughter....."Mommy I saw everything!!"...I think the kid will be in therapy for about a year!

What a great game!!

I'm sure you watched the game last night...I mean could you believe it!!..Peyton Manning is back and he is playing for us. Did flashes of the old Elway days come to you??...It was great! I know its a long season and we have a tough schedule...but it started off on the right foot. I was really happy for him and how he showed the country he can still play..and after what happend to Indianapolis yesterday...you know they are asking themselves today....WHY?!...WHY?! did we trade Peyton Manning!!

Do you have the fever!

Is it just my imagination or is this up-coming Bronco season about as exciting as it can be? Like you I have been a Bronco fan for years ..through thick or thin. However this Peyton Manning thing as truly fired up my my inner Bronco fever like never before!..I hope I'm not to over the top or setting myself up for disappointment. It didn't help with Sports Illistrated picking the guys to make it to the Super Bowl!..the kiss of death....I'm trying to calm myself down...getting ready for Sunday night..got my new Bronco gear ready....one final thought...the boys will be 11-5 this season...GO BRONCOS!!!!

You know you've made it!

Just got back from a nice long weekend in San Francisco where my son and his family live. It was our first visit with Lincoln our new grandson...just the perfect baby. But after the visit and as I was flying back I had time to refelect on the trip. I discovered I have really made it...how so you ask?...well for the entire visit I never paid for a meal out or any food period. My son paid for everything...I never thought I would live to see the day! You know even as your children get older ,as a parent ,you keep paying..you think it never ends. Well guess what??....it does!!
