Hug them tight!

Just a quick note to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!...Like many of you I'm off until the first of the year. I plan on spending the entire time enjoying my family and keeping them close. In the wake of what has happened in this country lately I think it is time to step back....get back to the basics of life and that to me is family. I hope you feel the same way....enjoy your holiday....with your family

Its getting exciting!!!

I don't know who is more excited about Christmas being so close...me or my grandchildren!...I caught 2 of them sneaking a peek last week..at the presents. Then I got caught by Carol doing the same thing! Come on admit it..you start snooping around. My question is when you find out what a certain present might be ...to you get more excited or disappointed? Thats why we should not look ahead of time save the surprise for Christmas day. Now let me think....where else would Carol hide those gifts!?

I Love Holiday Traditions!

Hope you all had a great weekend...the weather was perfect for the 9News Parade of Lights..we did both nights in our crazy KOSI peddlehopper!...thanks for all your wonderful response to us!. Also my neighborhood was alive with everyone decoratiing outside for the holidays....the whole neighborhood looks like a Griswald Christmas movie!

Even Andy my neighbor ..who while putting up his lights fell off his ladder into his big fur tree in the front of his house!..No damage done to the poor guy..especially after I brought him a little something to drink.... to heal his pride more than anything else!...Merry Christmas to all!
