Quite the storm on Sunday..as they say we need the moisture. I agree but I love it for 2 reasons...it's fun to watch your dog do his deed in deep snow...worth a laugh. Also when we get large amounts, like Sunday,I get big red out. Thats my supersize snowblower and I do the whole neighborhood. My neighbors love it and I love it as well....not for any money. I just makes me feel good to help.....also all the beer donations I get doesn't hurt!!
food quility! by Murphy Huston,posted Feb 19 2013 11:33AM
well after coming off Valentine's day and a long President's day weekend I feel like I ate half a house!...you too?..why is it we can't just enjoy ourselves with food indulgences without feelijhg quility. Most of us really try to eat a healthy diet...we get around holidays and we eat like crazy people. Then we struggle to take off a couple of pounds we put on and beat ourselves up over eating and having fun...now that sounds like the ....Biggest Loser!!!!......stop it!...ok I will if you do!
Ok all the Super Bowl hype is over...the game was OK...not the Broncos so who really cares. let's talk about what really matters..the commercials!! Over all I thought they were average...a couple of Gems..the Doritio commercials were good, the Oreo one was good. The one that really stood out for me were the two for Chrysler...really Jeep and Ram Trucks. Oprah voiced the one about our service men and women and their families, that was Jeep. However my favorite was Paul Harvey talking about farmers and their value to all of us. It was for Ram Trucks but you really did not know that until the very end. I grew up in rural Wisconsin and most of my friends lived on farms. I know what kind of life that was. the work my friends had put in even berfore they came to school!..glad to see them honored that way. Chrysler spent $60 million to air both of those spots...money well spent.
