We had a chance to give back to the community this week, we being my fellow employees here at Entercom communications. We call it "Make a Difference Day" and it is done company wide across America. We do this every year and when it comes up your first reaction is ...I don't have enough time for this, but then you feel quilty because we all talk about giving back and paying it forward. So we all headed down to the VOA mission on Lawerence st. Our job was do combine all the school supplies from "Stuff for Students" that we did last week with 9 News. BY the way thanks for your support with that project it went very well, so much so we had to organize about 200,000 school supplies! I'm so glad we did this, not only was it a great feeling to helping so many children get these supplies but it was a blast to get to know my fellow employees away from work. You know how that is, you work with people all day but do you really know them. When you do a worth-while project like this you see another side of people, a warm side we all have but maybe don't have the opportunity to bring out. Maybe you should try a "Make A Difference Day" where you work, it might completely change how you think of certain people you work with. Besides you will feel great helping other people...take a look at these pictures...
UH...I have no comment on uhm, this.
The whole Entercom crew came out!
Murphy and Cassidy all lovey dovey.
