Westminster Police Arrest Suspect in the Jessica Ridgeway Case

Very good news to hear today. On Wednesday, Westminster Poice announced they have arrested a suspect in the Jessica Ridgeway case. 17-year-old Austin Reed Sigg was arrested around 6:45 p.m. Tuesday night according to information we are getting.

The suspect, 17-year-old Austin Reed Sigg, was taken into custody on Tuesday. Sigg is a student at Arapahoe Community College, according to the custody report released by Westminster Police.

Westminster Police said in a press release Wednesday:

"Late Tuesday evening, police received a call that led them to a home near the Ketner Lake Open Space. With this discovery, police [announce] they made an arrest in the Ridgeway murder investigation. Additionally, authorities will file charges against the attacker in the May 28, 2012 attempted abduction at Ketner Lake."
