What to do in the winter if you don't ski

This time of year is hard for me and maybe you. The holidays are over, I don't ski or ice skate or snowshoe or any of those outdoor winter things. My golf clubs are put away until spring..what do I do?? Besides the usual honey dos for the wife I have come up with a plan. I'm beginning to hang out more with my granchildren and let them come up with ideas to have fun. This is really working...I'm playing more in the basement...hide and go seek upstairs and best of all getting in the car while it's still in the garage and let them pretend drive to a place they want to go...it's fun!!

I had my grandson, Greyson at the house over the weekend. I always like to to do fun things with him that usually make a mess that needs to be cleaned up afterwards. He never wants to help me...until this weekend. All of a sudden he is cleaning up with me and I didn't even ask him too!...I asked him why he was helping me without being asked...he says..you know papoo Santa is watching to see who is naughty or nice. Then he says to me...if you see Santa you will tell him I'm nice right Papoo....well you know the rest of that story.....

nothing like a good funeral story!!
altText
Hey ted...thanks for sharing this one..... A man was leaving a convenience store with his morning coffee when he noticed a most unusual funeral procession approaching the nearby cemetery. A black hearse was followed by a second black hearse about 50 Feet behind the first one. Behind the second hearse was a solitary man walking a dog on a leash. Behind him, a short distance back, were about 200 men walking single file. The man couldn't stand the curiosity. He respectfully approached the man walking the dog and said: "I am so sorry for your loss, and this may be a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this. Whose funeral is it?" "My wife's." ''What happened to her?" "She yelled at me and my dog attacked and killed her." He inquired further, "But who is in the second hearse?" The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife when the dog turned on her." A very poignant and touching moment of brotherhood and silence passed between the two men. "Can I borrow the dog?" The man replied, "Get in line."
