Denver Day of  Rock is a one-of-a-kind music event presented by Concerts For Kids to raise awareness of the children in need in our community. This FREE event features five stages of live music along the 16th Street Mall. From Zydeco to Grunge, from Jazz to Rock, there is music for everyone featuring Lee Brice, Vintage Trouble, Peter Cincotti, Fishbone, Mary Louise Lee Band, Roger Clyne and The Peacemakers and more. Capitol Hill United Neighborhoods, Inc., needs you for the 42nd Annual CHUN Capitol Hill People’s. The power behind the People’s Fair comes from our tremendous volunteers, like you! You could man the information booth, be a Fair Ambassador, help at the Wine Pavilion, play with the kids in the Family Area, or fulfill your dream to be a roadie for the Entertainment committee!  If you are passionate about our environment be sure to sign up for the Green Squad and keep the People’s Fair an environmentally sustainable event. To ensure a successful event, The People’s Fair will need lots of volunteers! To sign up just fill out an online registration form on our website or call the CHUN office at 303.830.1651. The CHUN Capitol Hill People’s Fair – an art and music festival – returns to Denver’s Civic Center Park on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 featuring handcrafted art, live local music, delicious festival food, a wine pavilion, the People’s Fair “Green Space” with sustainability-focused vendors, a non-profit showcase, and a family area with carnival rides and kids crafts.  The People’s Fair truly offers something for everyone! Do you remember the historical Deaf Camp Picnic from the 1970s and 80s featuring musical talent such as the legendary John Denver, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Jimmy Buffet? After a 15-year hiatus, Snowmass Tourism and the Aspen Deaf Camp (ADC) are happy to announce that it’s returning again to Snowmass Village, July 18-20, 2013. The event that John Denver put on the map is back and better than ever providing a three-day weekend of getting together with old friends, food, festivities and great live music headlined by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Billy Dean.

All proceeds of the Aspen Deaf Camp Picnic benefit the Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  General admission tickets for Saturday’s show are only $24 in advance and $30 day of event. Children 10 and under are free. Limited VIP tickets are also available which sponsors a child to attend summer camp. The VIP package, which is $250 advanced purchase or $275 the day of the event, includes special seating on side stage, appetizers and unlimited drinks. 23rd Annual Jazz Aspen Snowmass


Labor Day Weekend - August 30 - September 1

The festival kicks-off Friday, August 30th with Grammy© winning singer and songwriter Jason Mraz, supported by the rockin’ Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Saturday, August 31st will feature American Idol Judge and Country/Rock superstar Keith Urban, the San Francisco Pop/Rock Band Train, and 2013 Grammy© Winners for Best Country Performance Duo/Group, Little Big Town. One of the most popular American rock bands of all time, Journey, will close the festival on Sunday, September 1st with two opening acts still to be announced. JAS Festival shows from Jason Mraz, Train and Journey will all be exclusive Colorado performances.
