Lifehouse ‐ Wade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr., bassist Bryce Soderberg and guitarist Ben Carey - have made earnestness and soul -searching their calling card since emerging from Los Angeles during the late 90s, first as Blyss and since 2000 as Lifehouse. "Hanging By a Moment" was Billboard magazine's 2000 Hot 100 chart Song of the Year, while the group's music has been heard in TV shows such as "Smallville," "Falcon Beach," "Grey's Anatomy," "Scrubs," "One Tree Hill," "Criminal Minds" and many others, as well as in films like "The Time Traveler's Wife." Vicci Martinez isn't worried about the rules. The singer-songwriter continually goes against the grain both musically and lyrically. She doesn't adhere to guidelines of what pop music is supposed to be or how it should be presented. Given her penchant for writing honest, heartfelt songs, she doesn't have to either. When she hits the studio or the stage, she nods to soulful folk and classic rock with an immortal R&B groove beneath everything. Keaton Simons plays music simply because he has to. With an extensive palate including a degree in Ethnomusicology, Keaton's craving for a diverse musical adventure has pushed him into many different genres. He's worked as a writer, musical director, singer, bassist and guitarist with notable acts like Gnarls Barkley, Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg and Tre Hardson of the L.A. alternative rap group The Pharcyde. In addition, Keaton has found himself opening for Coldplay, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar and Train, writing with Jason Mraz and Hanson, producing a song for Disney teen star Nolan Sotillo (a Keaton composition, We Could Be Anything, in the new film Prom), and acting as the face of Advanced Guitar for the new Xbox game Rocksmith.
