The theme, Shamrockin’ 2010 spotlights the significant contributions the Irish have made to music over the years. Many of the current genres we enjoy today, such as folk, country, cowboy, rock and bluegrass, have been influenced by celtic music. The Bridies are the 2010 Grand Marshals. They are an exciting female foursome of high-powered, high-caliber, highly talented musicians that produce a unique blend of Celtic music, rock n' roll, dance and comedy.
Denver is home to one of the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parades in the nation with close to 10,000 marchers, over 2 30 entries, and nearly 200,000 spectators! Remember, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick’s Day!

Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure™ is a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a personal difference in the fight to end breast cancer. Komen 3-Day for the Cure participants raise a minimum of $2,300 and walk an average of 20 miles a day for three consecutive days, educating tens of thousands of people about breast health with every step. Funds raised impact breast cancer research and community-based breast health and education programs.

20th Annual Taste of Vail

The annual Avon Walk for Breast Cancer Rocky Mountains is a weekend-long event bringing together thousands of participants for two days. The scenic route takes place in Summit County, Colorado; a beautiful way to see Colorado while making a significant contribution to the breast cancer cause.
Proceeds from the Avon Walks are awarded by the Avon Foundation for Women to breast cancer medical research; access to care; support services; education and awareness; and screening and diagnostics.
In addition to raising significant funds, the Avon Walks spread awareness and education about breast cancer, and reminds everyone that early detection helps save lives. The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer series is a project of the Avon Foundation for Women, a public charity.
