MURPHY HUSTON     Weekdays 5am - 9am

Murphy has been in radio for 25 years in Denver with 14 of those on-air with KOSI. He has been very active in the Denver community and holds the "7 Everyday Hero" award along with several others. For years, he was the face of the Colorado Lotto doing their drawings weekly on News 4. He thoroughly enjoys doing radio where his lone goal is to put a smile on someone's face everyday. "If I can make your day a little better then I'm a happy man."  He is truly a "HOMER" when it comes to the local sports teams and is still trying to figure out his golf game. Murphy is married to Carol and they have raised their 4 children here and now have 4 grandchildren.

KEVIN MUSSMAN   Weekdays 3pm - 7pm

Kevin Mussman is a Colorado native that grew up in a small town in Northern Colorado. You can usually find Kevin out and about walking his Beagle, Jasmine, in the mountains hiking, and going on day trips around Colorado. Kevin loves a night on the town, dining out, checking out the latest movie, walking around Downtown Denver or the 16th Street Mall on a nice Colorado evening, and checking out a Rockies Game at Coors Field in the hot summer sun.

When Kevin was younger his parents, family and friends knew that he would most likely end up working in broadcasting as Kevin would walk around interviewing anyone that would give him a few minutes of their time. Kevin used his Fisher Price® tape recorder “playing radio”  starting at the age of 4. In middle school, Kevin set up a mock television set in his mother’s basement and recruited friends to help him produce a television show that he taped on an old VHS camera. Kevin and his friends would interview local celebrities and just about anyone else that would be willing to join the show. In high school, Kevin discovered he had a passion to pursue a career in broadcasting after visiting a taping of a show at 9NEWS (KUSA-TV) and ever since then, his passion for being on the air has only grown. Two weeks after graduating from high school, Kevin had his first job in radio.

Kevin’s pride and joy is his four-legged furry child, Jasmine, his Beagle. Jasmine has way too much energy so she loves to play, go for walks and go with Kevin just about anywhere he goes. For some reason Jasmine doesn’t like riding in the car (anxiety) but she loves the destination (as long as it’s not the vet or the dog groomer)

Kevin has a lofty goal, to go skiing, someday! A Colorado native that has never been skiing, how crazy is that?

Check out what Kevin is talking about, by visiting Kevin's Corner. Join Kevin Mussman every weekday afternoon for the stress-free drive with lots of music, traffic updates, weather and fun on KOSI 101.1!

MELINDA CONNOLLY - Weekdays 7pm - midnight

I've always considered myself a 'beach girl'  but go figure, I have lived in Colorado since 1980. I went to Smoky Hill High School in Aurora and graduated from CU - Boulder with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

At least that college tuition didn't go to waste! I landed my first radio gig right after college, and have worked in radio and / or cable television ever since.  In the late 90's I was music director for Great American Country (GAC), the video TV channel which launched in Denver and has since moved its headquarters to Tennessee.

SO...back to the beach. I got married on the beach in Hawaii and my flip flop collection is quite extensive! I have an awesome husband and a beautiful daughter who is in elementary school and who sings into her 'microphone' everyday.

Music has always been a Huge part of my life. Remember when you could actually camp out overnight for concert tickets? Yep..I did that! Alot! Before there was a ticketmaster.COM or DOT COM anything for that matter. Scored that coveted 'first row' ticket may times too! Red Rocks is my favorite place to see a concert. I feel so blessed to be able to make music a part of my work life too!
